Why I Started Reflect EDI
My name is Dr. Andrea May Rowe. I am an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Specialist and Founder of Reflect Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. With over 15 years of experience in government, academia, and entrepreneurship, I am an EDI advisor, strategist, and coach working at the intersections of people and the planet.​ Born with a rare congenital heart defect, I have experienced firsthand the power of inclusive innovation to transform lives. I am passionate about working with people and organizations committed to making the world healthier and more sustainable by creating systems where everyone thrives. As a political scientist, I understand the importance of evidence, theory, and lived experience to guide change. We live in a time when people are more interconnected than ever. EDI solutions must consider complexities and nuance to produce transformative results for individuals and organizations. ​I have worked with world-class researchers, governments, Fortune 500 Companies, startups, and leaders in Canada and internationally. ​
